Something seems a bit wrong with this picture.
It started six hundred years ago, at the dawn of not only a new love, but a new way of life. Two youths, one of the fire, one of the water. They fled from the war, from their parents and from themselves. But they met each other, and it was love.
They both hated the war, and knew nothing they could do about it. So, they wandered the lands and found a great sage of the earth element(Played by me, if this plotline gets accepted). He joined their crusade, and the elf that was obviously at that point well into his 1000's, showed them a secret valley of caves named the Quislibet caves. The sage supervised the two children as they grew. By the age of one hundred they had an idea. A plan. They would recruit novices of all the elements, and train them in their power to stop the war.
Novices that ventured too far out of the grounds were snagged by the two, kidnapped, and brought to the Quislibet caves. They were trained to resist the intruders and stop the war, by peaceful stealing of their troops, to killing their armies where they stand, the sheer power of the four elements working together too powerful for many to comprehend.
The Sage, named Quamtotius, rules over this resistance, teaching the amateurs of the earth element. Their population has swelled a huge amount from when the two began, soldiers kidnapped to their cause, babies born, novices trained to do their work. From the original three of the water, fire and earth, over one thousand soldiers stand in the resistance to the war.
The caves themselves begin with a small tunnel into a mountain that from the outside is sheer and unclimbable, in an almost vertical slope. Inside, plants grow abundant in every corner, from the humble fungi to blossoming flowers. Why can they grow? Because the fire mages made themselves their own little quarters that exist above each room. The rooms are filled with flames, which provide the heat and warmth every plant needs.
Deeper underground lies a cavern of pools, and streams that flow in the depths of the caves. This area is where the water and earth mages call their homes. Plants grow fairly abundant in the caverns of water.
The wind mages? Of course they would never feel at home underground. They dwell in the harpie's cavern, or the Aquila peaks. The harpie's cavern is high in the mountain, where indents cover the mountain letting huge gusts of wind in. A huge opening is the main provider of that wind, bringing the north wind in. Many Eagles dwell here, being the steeds of wind mages after all.
The Aquila peak is simplely the top of the mountain, which rather than ending in a point, you can climb from the inside to find yourself in a large plateau. Mages do not dwell here, rather they train here.
I am willing to make the boards for this resistance as well, rather than you doing it. Also, I will make the boards invisible to those that are either not part of the resistance, or not invited. You'll have to make the member group though... And make sure you classify it as staff -_-
